Description
This paper studied the alteration characteristics of near ore wall rocks in Baiyanghe uranium and beryllium deposit, Xinjiang. It was found that the main wallrock alteration is hematitization and fluoritization. Geochemical analysis result of rocks from the deposit suggested that near the central zone of mineralization, the content of silicate decreased while the concents of Ca and Mg increased, the content of Pb, Mo, Sb correlate positively with uranium content and therefore they can be used as the indicators for uranium exploration.
