Description
The variances of fission-fragment mass distributions were measured for (α, f) and (He, f) reactions in the interval between Os and At. The analysis of experimental data shows that the properties of symmetric fission around x approximately equal to 0.7 (Where X-fissionability parameter) are mainly determined by the stage of passjng of the fission barrier
