Description

Complexes of dimethylphosphinous acid with zirconium, germanium, tatanium tetrachlorides and with tin halides have been prepared and investigated. Crystal products of the composition [(CH3)2p(O)H]2xMCl4 (M=Ge, Ti, Zr) and [(CHsub(3)sub(2)P(O)H]sub(2)x(CHsub(3)sub(n)SnsubXsub(4-n) (X=Cl, Br; n=0.1) are insoluble in the majority of organic solvents, are low-soluble in acetone, nitromethane, acetonitrile. Using the methods of IR, PMR spectroscopy and nuclear gamma-resonance, nt is shown that the complexes in crystal state have mainly a cis-octahedral configuration, which they preserve in solution. Donor-acceptor bond in the complexes is realized at the expense of unshared electron couple of phosphoryl group oxygen
