Description

Sensitivity studies were carried out using simulated vitrified waste to assess the effects of variations in waste composition on major glass properties: density, viscosity, electrical resistivity, characteristic temperatures (glass transition temperature, softening point), thermal stability, and chemical durability. The developed glass has enough flexibility for changes in the process parameters. The effects of noble-metal on viscosity and electrical resistivity are elucidated
