Description

A feasible nondestructive quantitative analysis method combining XRF primary measurement with Monte Carlo simulated calculation is advanced. Concentrations of lead in aerosol in Chengdu city were determined to be 1.24 μg/m3, which had no distinct difference compared with 1.80 μg/m3 provided by the relative references based on atomic absorption spectrum analysis. A relative efficiency curve of Si(Li) detector is drawn, and some factors that may affect the detector efficiency are discussed quantitatively
