Hubble constant in the local region

Description
A program is described in which the distances to all E,SO galaxies in the Shapley-Ames catalogue are obtained, with hope that the average value of the Hubble constant derived from all these galaxies will be nearer to the true value free from effects due to the nonisotropic distribution of galaxies in the local region
