Electric field generation by interference amplification of synchrotron radiation field
Description
Modulated beams of charged particles represent powerful means of formation of electromagnetic field with the given unique properties. Using special arrangement of tracks of particle moving in vacuum one may attain occurrence of space localized short-time 'flashes' of electrical or magnetic field. The scheme of interference amplification of the electrical field of synchrotron radiation of relativistic particles moving cophasely along azimuth cross sections of torus, is considered. Range of interference 'flash' formed at the torus axis has transverse dimensions equal to limiting length of synchrotron radiation wave. Space distribution of the particle strong radiation field at distances comparable with and larger than radius of track curvature is analyzed preliminary. 9 refs., 4 figs
