Study of gelation atom in metal nitrate-hexamethylenetetramine-urea-water systems by nuclear magnetic relaxation
Creators
Description
Using the method of nuclear magnetic relaxation spectroscopy the rates of surface formation and sizes of dispersed particles in gel-forming systems metal nitrate-hexamethylene-tetramine-urea-water, composed on the basis of uranyl, thorium, aluminium and zirconium, are studied. Using the measurement of relaxation times of protons of the dispersed medium molecules the characteristic parameters of the dispersed phase in the process of initial liquid system transfer into gel at the constant temperature are determined. Regularities in the change of dispersed particle sizes depending on the concentration of the system components and time of gelatinization are established. Activation energy of the process of dispersed phase formation and the character of the effect of the system components on the rate of dispersed particle formation are determined
