Description
We perform a complete calculation of the flux of supersymmetric particles emitted by a binary star such as Cygnus X-3 taking into account production of particles in the interior as well as the atmosphere of the main-sequence star. We calculate fluxes at Earth as well as the contribution to heating of the main-sequence star inside the binary system. Although some supersymmetric models predict observable fluxes in future cosmic-ray telescopes, supersymmetry cannot be the source of underground muons from point sources recently reported by some experiments
