Description
Measurements with a Rh-SPN-detector were carried out to determine the contributions of thermal and epithermal neutrons and gamma radiation to the current signal. The detector was used to measure the neutron flux distribution in a peripherical position of the MTR swimming pool reactor FRG-2 at Geesthacht. The maximum operating power was 15 MW. A method is described in order to measure the thermal neutron sensitivity and the γ-sensitivity of the Rh-SPN-detector. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Es wurden Messungen mit einem Rh-SPN-Detektor durchgefuehrt, um die Beitraege von thermischen und epithermischen Neutronen sowie der Gammastrahlung am Stromsignal zu bestimmen. Mit diesem Detektor wurde in einer aeusseren Core-Position des MTR-Swimming-Pool-Reaktors FRG-2 in Geesthacht die Neutronenflussverteilung gemessen. Die maximale Betriebsleistung betrug 15 MW. Es wird eine Methode zur Messung der thermischen Neutronen- und Gammaempfindlichkeit eines Rh-SPN-Detektors beschrieben. (orig.)Additional details
