Description
This paper considers the dependence of the free energy of penetration of a depolarizer ion into the surface layer on the degree of occupation of the electrode surface by adsorbate molecules. The calculations are carried out in the framework of a ''dielectric continuum'' model. It is proposed that the dependence of the dielectric permeability within the surface layer on the degree of coverage of the electrode by surfactant molecules is described by a power series and the adsorption of surfactant corresponds to a model of two parallel condensers. A comparison of the results of the calculations with the experimental data available in the literature is shown. It is shown that the parameters calculated theoretically and found experimentally are in agreement with each other
