Use of computers for complex interpretation of the results of geophysical studies of lime stone log in cased holes
Description
An algorithm and program were elaborated for a quantitative interpretation of data of acoustic, pulse neutron-neutron, neutron-gamma and gamma loggings. Several variants of the composition and type of porosity of non-clayey limestone rocks are considered in the program algorithm. Presented are the results of complex data interpretation of cased hole studies using the above program. The data of neutron-gamma logging and gamma logging as well as the differential curves of pulse neutron-neutron logging at delay times of 900 and 1200 μs and acoustic logging curves were used for complex interpretation. Using the examples of complex interpretation it is shown that the program elaborated permits to use in the best way the possibilities of neutron and acoustic methods while separating reservoirs with complex structure and estimating their saturation
