Description

Relaxation of F2+ -centers in lithium fluoride radiation-colored crystals from the moment of joint effect of ultraviolet radiation and shock wave was studied. It is shown that annealing curve of the above-mentioned centers at room temperature has a nonmonotonous character, being the result of three processes - destruction of instable (short-lived) and stable F2+ -centers and formation of stable centers in case of occasional contact between the relevant ingredients in the process of their diffusional wandering over the lattice. Dependences of F2+ -centers concentration and absorption factors on the time of LiF crystal keeping in the dark, which were obtained experimentally, agree well with theoretical estimates
