Determination of neutron double differential scattering cross section for calcined bakelite

Description
In way that the bakelite dynamics and structure properties could be determined, neutron total cross-sections and double differential scattering cross-sections have been measured, respectively, with the neutron crystal spectrometer at CNEN/IEN and the neutron time-of-flight and Be-filter arrangement at CNEN/IEN. The total cross-section informations obtained at IEN arrangement, complemented by others methods, allow an estimation of the probable molecular formula. The sample emergent espectra obtained at the IPEN arrangement permit, trough an appropriated formalism, some conclusions concerning the double differential cross-sections, the scattering law, molecular structure and dynamic information. Para determinar propriedades dinamicas e estruturas da Baquelite, secoes de choque totais e de espalhamento duplamente diferenciais para neutrons foram medidas nos arranjos espectrometro de cristal do IEN/CNEN e espectrometro de tempo-de-voo filtro de Berilio do IPEN/CNEN. As informacoes de secoes de choque totais obtidas no arranjo do IEN, por outros metodos complementadas, permitem estimar provaveis formulas moleculares. Os espectros emergentes de neutrons obtidos no arranjo do IPEN permitem por um formalismo apropriado obter-se as respectivas secoes de choque duplamente diferenciais, as leis de espalhamento e, informacoes sobre a estrutura e a dinamica das amostras.
