Analysis on uranium metallogenic conditions and ore-controlling factors of Qianjiadian-Jiamatu area, southwest of Songliao basin
- 1. Geologic Party No.243, CNNC, Chifeng (China)
Description
By analyzing the geological conditions of uranium metallogenic conditions and ore- controlling factors of Qianjiadian-Jiamatu area, as well as the roles of oil-gas reduction, oil-gas up-rushing and the basic rock veins during the ore-forming process, it is considered that the formation of sandstone-type uranium deposit in this area is different from the typical inter-layered oxidation zone sandstone-type uranium deposit at home and abroad. The uranium deposit in this area is quite special. Ore bodies do not occur in redox transitional zone as the roll-shaped, but in the shape of tabular at the lower part of oxidation zone. It is suggested also that the flanks of the windows, and the grey layers in the superposed red and grey part of Yaojia Formation pinched by en-echelon faults F1, F2 and F3 are favorable for uranium mineralization. Finally based on the above discussion, the uranium metallogenic model of this region is established. (authors)
