Hydrogen permeability of passivatina layers on metals in a crack tip at corrosion cracking
Description
A study was made on hydrogen permeability of passivating layers in a crack tip at corrosion cracking of high-tensile 33Kh3NMVFA and N18K9M5T alloys, titanium VT20 alloy and aluminium Al-10% Mg alloy depending on electrolyte composition. Experiments were conducted for samples with initial fatigue cracks at room temperature in NaOH, Na2HPO4, Na2HPO4+NaNO3, Na2HPO4+NaCl and other solutions. The values of critical rate of crack propagation, critical stress intensity factor at hydrogen embrittlement and hydrogen permeability in different electrolytes are given
