Eurobserv'er barometers. Photovoltaic, biofuels, solar thermal, wind energy

EurObserver'ER reviews and takes stock of the development of the following sectors: photovoltaic, biofuels, thermal solar and wind energy. This analysis shows that the worldwide production of solar cells increased by 44% and installed power in the European Union grew by 29% in the year 2000, that biofuels are asserting themselves more and more of the European energy scene, that solar thermal energy use in Europe has been revitalized and that the year 2000 prosperous for the wind power with 22,3% GROWTH AND 3031 MW supplementary installed capacity.
