Description
Most of the uranium deposits and some non-uranium metalliferous deposits in sedimentary rocks in the United States are reviewed to determine whether petroliferous materials are associated with uranium and other metal deposits. A general relation between petroliferous material and uranium is not evident, although in some cases the two to occur together. Petroleum cannot be used to predict the occurrence of uranium, and uranium cannot be used to predict the occurrence of petroleum
