On carbon burning products at constant temperature
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Astronomicheskij Sovet
- 2. Moskovskij Fiziko-Tekhnicheskij Inst. (USSR)
Description
Carbon nuclear burning in astrophysical conditions at constant density and temperature is investigated, secondary reactions being taken into account. The main products of burning are: Ne20, Ne21, Ne22, Na23, Mg24. Their mass fractions after carbon exhaustion are but slightly dependent on the chosen temperature. For elements less than Ne20 the mass fractions strongly depend on the temperature
