Determination of stresses caused by force and temperature effects and the degree of expiration of the material lifetime during the operation of a steam generator in a WWER-440 type nuclear power plant
Description
A method of determination of the boundary conditions in finite element calculations is outlined, and the results of calculation of temperatures, stresses, and the degree of lifetime expiration are given for the steam pipe coupling of WWER-440 steam generators. The results find application in the in-service assessment of the residual lifetime by the analytical method or by using an installed lifetime counter. (author). 9 figs., 16 refs
