X-ray imaging methods
Description
An introductory account is given of the imaging methods, using both hard and soft X-rays, that are used by the physicist and materials scientist and could be of interest to the chemist or biologist. The subject is dealt with in sections, entitled: elastic scattering processes; inelastic scattering processes; X-ray topography; absorption microscopy, microradiography (advantages of synchrotron beam, resolution, image contrast); recording media.
