Description
The external background radiation levels at Hyderabad have been measured. The measurements were performed using CaSO4: Dy thermoluminescent dosimeters at 17 locations in and around Hyderabad at one meter above the ground. The range of annual average dose rate measured was 1.5 - 2.6 mGy/year in air based on the analysis of thermoluminescent dosimeters. (author)
