Coherent-electron radiation pressure on a beam surface

Description
A formula has been obtained for the breaking force in consequence of radiation acting on a surface of a linear beam of relativistic electrons spreading in a plasma under conditions of the beam instability. Detailed consideration is given to a physical mechanism explaining the effect and possibilities of its utilization for beam radial focusing
