Description
Excessively deformed nuclei consist of even protons and neutrons in the same amount the ration of the axes are 2:1:1 or 3:1:1 in hyperdeformed nuclei. Production of pairs and symmetry breaking help understanding the phenomenon. 28Si and 38 Ar is investigated. 38Ar is produced in reactions of 20Ne and 16O or 24Mg and 12C.
