Coulomb distortion of electrons in (e,e'p) reactions
Description
In this paper the effect of Coulomb distortion of electrons in quasi-free (e,e'p) reactions is investigated for different nuclei and different kinematics. In light nuclei the distortion is well described by using an effective momentum transfer, while in medium and heavy nuclei the focusing of the electron wave gives large contributions, in particular in 2p and 3s hole states. A comparison with positron scattering is finally presented
