Synthesis of new 2-quinazolylacetonitrile derivatives
Description
2-Quinazolylacetonitrile derivatives containing H-chelate have been synthesized from 2-cyanomethylquinazoline using electrophiles such as 4-chloroquinazoline, 4-chloro-2-phenylquinazoline, 4,6-dichloropyrimidine, 4,6-dichloro-2-phenylpyrimidine, 4,6-dichloro-5-phenylpyrimidine, 2-chloroquinoxaline, 1,3-dichloroisoquinoline, 2,6-dichloropyrazine and 4,6-dichloro-2,5-diphenylpyrimidine. These H-chelates may serve as a polymethine chromophore system. Structures of the target molecules were identified by spectral methods
