Magnetic anisotropy in iron base metallic glasses

  • 1. Tsentral'nyj Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Inst. Chernoj Metallurgii, Moscow (USSR). Inst. Pretsizionnykh Splavov

Description

Methods of magnetic character figures and nuclear gamma-resonance have been used to investigate distribution of spontaneous magnetization in hardened and annealed sheets of Fe81B13Si4C2 amorphous alloy. Value of magnetic anisotropy across to a sheet axis is determined. It is shown that formation of lateral axis of simple magnetization proceeds at the expense of internal stresses, viscoelastic nature of which provides stability of magnetic anisotropy at low-temperature annealings
