Description
The expression of antigens and peptides on the cell surface of target cells has provided the use of monoclonal antibodies and peptides for experimental tumour therapy. Several studies using monoclonal antibodies (such as the anti-ovarian cancer monoclonal antibody 90Y-HMCF1, the anti-CEA monoclonal antibody PR1A3 (ICRF), the anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody and the 90Y-labelled lanreotide peptide are shortly discussed and highlighted regarding their clinical potential to treat cancer.
