New results from CLEO on Cabibbo-suppressed decays of D0 mesons and τ leptons
Description
CLEO has recently completed high statistics of studies of Cabibbo-suppressed decays of D0 mesons and τ leptons. The neutral K*(892) is seen for the first time in τ decay. The ratio of branching ratios for D0 → K+K- and D0 → π+π- is 2.40 ± 0.37 ± 0.25, representing a substantial improvement in precision over the world average. The decay D0 → K0 antiK0 is observed at a rate consistent with previous measurements
