Final report of the irradiation experiment MOL 16-5
Description
During the experimental series MOL 16 the interaction between fuel and cladding of the type 1.4988 has been investigated. Varied parameters were the cladding temperature, burnup and stoichiometry of the fuel and the influence and positioning of stabilisators. In total 14 pins were used in 5 measuring campaigns, while in the experiment 16-5 two pins of 180 mm length, both with O/M=1.99 and 87 % theoretical density and a target temperature at clad inner wall of 560±30 deg C were investigated. This report describes the three years operational period of the 16-5 experiment in BR-2
