''Voyager-1'' in the Saturn world

Description

Experimental data obtained by means of the Voyager 1 satellite when investigating the Saturn planet, its rings and satellites are discussed. Voyager 1 pictures have confirmed the existence of a narrow dark slit the Enke division in one of three wide rings A. On approaching Voyager 1 to the Saturn planet discovered was the ever-growing number of narrow rings quantity of which reached 1000 at a minimum distance. Three small satellites of S13, S14 and S15 of the Saturn planet were photographed with the Voyager 1 satellite for the first time. The Voyager 1 pictures permitted for the first time to see elements of surface structure of the Saturn satellite. Basic characteristics of the planet satellites using the Voyager 1 data are given
