Facts 2000. Norwegian petroleum activities
Description
The petroleum resources discovered on the Norwegian Continental Shelf amounts to about 9,6 billion Sm3 oil equivalents, 76 percent in the North Sea, 20 percent in the Norwegian Sea and 4 percent in the Barents Sea. The present publication gives a summary of the resources, the exploration, the field development, the production of oil and gas, and the revenue from petroleum sale for the year 1999
