Dissipative effects in the longitudinal magnetic oscillations of superfluid liquid 3He-A

Description
A theory of relaxation in the longitudinal magnetic ringing of the A phase of superfluid liquid 3He is presented. An attempt is made to compare the theory with some recent experimental data. Some features of the data are in semiquantitative accord with the theory, but there are unresolved discrepancies about which some comments are made
