Chapters 4-7 from the 60 ICRP Publication on radiation protection are discussed. The above chapters cover conceptual bases of radiation protection, safety ensurance in case of operation and intervention, problems of application of the Commission recommendations. New aspects in recommendations are considered in comparison with the 26 Publication. Merits and demerits in new ICRP recommendations from the point of view of Russian scientists are marked. 6 refs.; 1 tab
