Density fluctuation studies in Tortur
- 1. Associatie EURATOM-FOM, Nieuwegein (Netherlands)
- 2. FOM-Instituut voor Plasmafysica Rijnhuizen (Netherlands)
Description
Density fluctuations were studied by means of collective scattering of 2-mm waves in the TORTUR tokamak. A radial scan of the fluctuations was made for various k-values. A good spatial resolution in three dimensions, i.e. 1/e widths of 1 cm, was obtained by performing 900-scattering experiments as well. Differences were found between the fluctuations in hydrogen and deuterium plasmas. The mixing-length relation was tested
