Description
A description of the new EB curing process developed by MRP (Mead Release Products, Inc.) is given. The process is used to apply silicone acrylate functional or decorative coatings to film or paper to a highly repeatable release level. Coating thicknesses are in the micron or sub-micron range. The benefits of the EB process are outlined and compared to the state of the art of known radiation curing methods. (RB)
