Powder processing and the fabrication of rhenium
Description
This paper reports that in the past few years, the interest in rhenium and rhenium-containing alloys has increased. This interest is primarily due to results from investigations being carried out for high-temperature and space-reactor applications. High-purity rhenium metal has the potential to be used in larger quantities than ever before. These applications include rhenium in its pure form as well as in alloys with other refractory metals
