Modification of mechanical properties and microstructure of Ni-Cr-base alloy by continuous electron irradiation

Description
Using the methods of transmission and scanning electron microscopy and X-ray structure analysis investigation of 40CrNiAl alloy structure-phase state after different conditions of thermomechanical treatment (TMT) and electron irradiation is carried out. Correlation of microstructure parameters of irradiated alloy with its mechanical properties is ascertained as well as morphology of structural and phase transformations in alloy at continuous electron irradiation. Simultaneous increasing of strength characteristics and plasticity of 40CrNiAl alloy after certain conditions of TMT and electron irradiation is find out, the reasons of the phenomenon is analyzed. The scientifically-based schemes of 40CrNiAl alloy TMT are developed and choice of electron irradiation conditions for optimization of its mechanical properties is substantiated
Abstract (Russian)
Методами просвечивающей и растровой электронной микроскопии и рентгеноструктурного анализа проведено исследование структурно-фазового состояния сплава 40ХНЮ после разных режимов механико-термической обработки (МТО) и электронного облучения. Установлена взаимосвязь параметров микроструктуры облученного сплава с его механическими свойствами, а также морфология структурных и фазовых превращений в сплаве при непрерывном электронном облучении. Обнаружено одновременное возрастание прочностных свойств и пластичности сплава 40ХНЮ после определенных режимов МТО и электронного облучения, проанализированы причины этого феномена. Разработаны научно-обоснованные схемы МТО сплава 40ХНЮ и обоснован выбор режимов электронного облучения для оптимизации его механических свойствAdditional details
