Time coder in the nanosecond range with low differential nonlinearity

  • 1. Gosudarstvennyj Komitet po Ispol'zovaniyu Atomnoj Ehnergii SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Atomnoj Ehnergii

Description

A 4096- channel time coder is described. The minimum channel width is 4 nsec. The differential nonlinearity of the coder, as measured at the channel width of 5 nsec., does not exceed +-0.5%. As the reference oscillator for the coder, a quartz crystal oscillator is used whose pulses phase those determining the end of the time interval measured. The schematic diagram of a reference oscillator for 100 and 250 MHsub(Z) and the schematic diagram and structural scheme of the phasing unit are presented
