Description

The paper presents an algorithm for performing an inversion of helioseismology data. The method is characterized by high speed, stability, and versatility. The existence of a method for producing an analog of the Backus-Gilbert optimal kernals is demonstrated. The method performs well, even when a moderate amount of observational noise is included. 14 references
