Interaction of some transition element iodides with iodine in aqueous medium at 0 deg C

Description
Isothermal study of MI2-I2-H2O (M-Mn, Co, Ni, Cd) system solubility at 0 deg C is carried out. Formation of incongruently soluble MnI2x2I2x8H2O compound and solid solutions on its base enriched in iodine is stated to take place. Other studied systems are eutonic type
