Ceramic fuel design and fabrication requirements (review article)

Description

The main criteria in fuel rod design and reviews the most important aspects of oxide fuel performance, which play basic role in power reactor safety is described. This aspects includes nuclear chemical, structural and geometrical characteristics of fuel. The optimized fuel microstructure, which is very important for in-service performance and evaluation procedure of fuel behavior will be introduced. (author)
