Description
Non-adiabatic real space rotational effects of a polarized nuclear-spin ensemble with non-degenerate or partially degenerate energy spectrum are discussed. Moreover we demonstrate the connection between observed frequency shifts and the appearance of a geometric and dynamical phase of the eigenstates accumulated after the completion of a cycle. Experiments were performed with a Rb-Xe NMR - gyroscope using 129Xe (I = 1/2) in combination with a rotating magnetic field and 131Xe (I = 3/2) in a rotating electric field gradient.
