Light propagation and timing with scintillating fibers
Description
In this presentation I summarize the results of the measurements of the properties of scintillating fibers produced by the Kyowa Gas Chemical Co. and then compare the timing and light output properties of fiber and block scintillator detectors of the same external dimensions and made from the same scintillation material. Finally, I present the extrapolation of these measurements to the full scale time-of-flight detector. (orig./HSI)
