Sorption of gold and platinum as possible analogs of elements with Z = 110 and 111
Description
Sorption of gold and platinum from geothermal brines on resins and modified fibers has been studied under static and dynamic conditions. Element distribution coefficients and extraction at volume loads of up to 1000 column volumes have been determined. Conclusions have been drawn regarding the potentiality of use of sorbents for preconcentration and isolation of elements with Z = 110 111 from geothermal brines
