The effect of reverse capture into axial channels of negatively charged particles with energies in the range 1-55 GeV at incidence angles on the target exceeding critical Lindhard angles, is investigated. The electron dechanneling lengths in crystals of Si, W, Ge, playing an important role in the evaluation of channelled particle radiation intensity, are determined
