Description

The effects of drugs in the results of thyroid function tests, which could lead to misinterpretation of the real clinical state of the patients, are reviewed. The aspects of the metabolism of the thyreoidean hormones which could be related to these alterations are presented. (Author)

Faz-se revisao dos efeitos de drogas nos resultados das provas de funcao tireoidiana, que podem levar a erros de interpretacao sobre o verdadeiro estado clinico do paciente. Sao apresentados sumariamente os aspectos do metabolismo dos hormonios tireoidianos que podem estar relacionados a estas alteracoes. (Autor)
