Description
This chapter presents some highlights from many excellent contributions in skeletal radiology. There has been a recent call for the radiologist to play a more active role in planning the diagnostic imaging workup. Therefore, the author includes any information presented on the radiologic workup of the many conditions described in these recent articles. The chapter is organized by disease categories, such as joint disease, trauma, tumors, and metabolic conditions. A separate section is devoted to radiology of the spine because of the large number of articles on this topic in the recent literature
