Description

Level energies for nuclei sup(148, 150, 152, 154, 156)Sm and sup(152, 154, 156, 158)Gd are calculated according to the following nuclear models: Bohr-Mottelson (BM) rotational band mixing model, Faessler-Greinder (FG) rotation-vibration coupling model, Arima-Iachello (AI) interacting boson model. The BM and FG models have a satisfactory agreement with experiment for A>=154 (Sm) and A>=156 (Gd). The AI model has a better agreement with experiment in the direction of lower A values. Several fragments of lowlying level scheme of sup(151, 152, 153, 154, 155)Eu are considered. Strong deviations from energy values predicted by simple rotational formula are observed in the rotational bands built on the 5/2-[532] proton and 3/2+[651] neutron orbitals. These anomalies are explained by Coriolis interaction
