Effect of gamma irradiation on the heat capacity of (CH3)2NH2Ga(SO4)2·6H2O crystals in the temperature range of phase transitions

Description
The heat capacity of the dimethylammoniumgalliumsulfate crystal (DMAGS) is measured within the temperature range of 80-300 K and the effect of γ-irradiation on the heat capacity in the area of the phase transition (PT) is studied. It is shown that the PT at T1 = 135 K in the DMAGS crystal is related to the second type and the PT at T2 = 119 K - to the first type. It is established that the temperature area of the ferrophase existence in the DMAGS crystal is narrowed under the γ-irradiation effect. The changes in the thermodynamic functions of the studied transitions are determined
Abstract (Russian)
Измерена теплоемкость кристаллов диметиламмонийгаллийсульфата (ДМАГС) в интервале температур 80-300 К и исследовано влияние γ-облучения на теплоемкость в области фазового перехода (ФП). Подтверждено, что ФП при T1 135 K в кристалле ДМАГС относится ко второму роду, ФП при T2 = 119 K - к первому роду. Установлено, что температурная область сушествования сегнетофазы в кристалле ДМАГС под действием γ-облучения сужается.
